STORY

Created in 1983 to studyand produce tools for the rotomoulding, the company Erplast develops in 1985 an initiation sailing boat for the children, in polyethylene rotomolded called OPTILENE which meets a great success in France.

In 1992, ERPLAST launches into the manufacture of competition boats with composite materials (canoes, kayaks, rowing boats).

In 2000m² covered and 16 collaborators, ERPLAST acquires a know-how in the use of modern materials.

The requirement of the high level candidates mades enormously move ERPLAST at the level of the manufacture quality and the care providen to the finishings.

The appearance of the new gauge "IOD 95" encourages naturally ERPLAST to develop this new Optimist.

More especially as France, one of the most significant country in practice of Optimist, did not have yet a manufacturer.
